Business History

In the year 2021, we decided instead of learning normal public school math, we would learn finance. A year later and we have done job shadowing, touring a bank, podcasting, sponsors, and pouring over finance terms and nitty-gritty. I admit I have a LOT to learn. In no way would I consider myself in financial expert, but someday I will.

As of today, I have co-hosted a podcast called GoGreenfields with my twin brother. It has evolved from a pair of nine-year-olds interviewing restaurants to a pair of fourteen-year-olds interviewing Beau MacMillan. We now do competitions, foraging, social media, and, biggest of all: video. We used to simply bring out Itouch hooked up to a portable microphone. Now, we use two cameras. It's so amazing to see where we began and where we have come.

Right now, I am working on several projects. If you head over to the education page, you will see that my friend and I are writing stories. Well, I reckon I might as well turn it into a book. Not only can I illustrate it, but my Dad has written several bestselling novels, and I can learn a copious amount from him. In addition, I am going to begin investing soon, along with selling the talents that I have been building for 14 years. It's an exciting path that I can hardly wait to continue.

8 months later...
Whoo!

Looking back, I have done a lot in these past eight months. GoGreenfields has grown a ton (11,000 views on one video!), not to mention several new projects.

Probably the project I am most excited about is my BOOK. THAT'S RIGHT. I FINISHED THE FIRST INSTALLMENT. My Dad has been helping a lot with the process of interest within the realm of publishing, and I have just sent my story to a world-class publisher. They are reading the manuscript now, and whether they end up liking it or not, I am excited beyond words.
In addition, Dad, River, and I have started a card game company called Fried Pickles. The name's odd, I know, but we came up with a cool card game idea the night we were having fried pickles (it seemed right). Our first game is called Fart of War, named after the creative commons book Art of War by Sun Tzu. I'm doing the digitizing and coloring while River is doing the sketches, and Dad, the business aspects.

Lastly, my plan for my next business is to a Shiso juice company. Shiso juice is a wonderful herb that is not only good for digestion but has this unique, unparalleled taste that I have never seen on the market. I'll get back with an update on this one.

Fruitful months, truly. Yet, I hope that the next set will be even more so.
